Royal Copenhagen cat figurine no. 678 Blanche, 3,5 x 7 cm

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 678 "Blanche" is a small porcelain figurine with a calm and intimate expression that immediately evokes recognition in any cat lover. The figurine depicts a sleeping cat lying closely curled up with its tail drawn in around the body. This gives the figurine a soft, closed shape and a quiet mood that fits beautifully into both modern and classic homes.

Blanche is designed by Allan Therkelsen for Royal Copenhagen and belongs to the Mini Cat Collection series. The simple modelling achieves a lot with few means: the pointed ears, the closed eyes, and the rounded body create a figurine that feels both lively and stylish. In the pictures, a glossy glaze is seen in light, muted shades with discreet warm tones at the ears and tail, which emphasize the figurine's calm character.

As a porcelain figurine, Blanche is ideal for those who collect Royal Copenhagen figurines, cat figurines, or smaller Danish design objects with personality. The modest size makes it easy to place on a shelf, in a display cabinet, on a desk, or as a small detail in an arrangement with other porcelain animals. It also works well as a gift for a cat-loving friend or for the collector who is fond of Allan Therkelsen's animal figurines.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they bring both craftsmanship and history into the interior. It is precisely the type of small quality object that can gain new life in the home and create joy for many years to come. Blanche is also 1 of a series of 12 cats, which makes it especially interesting for collectors who wish to explore the entire Mini Cat Collection.
