Royal Copenhagen dachshund figurine no. 753 Allan Therkelsen

Royal Copenhagen dachshund figurine no. 753 is a charming porcelain figurine with lots of personality. The small dog is lying on its back with its paws slightly bent and its calm head raised, as if it is enjoying a safe moment in the middle of play. The motif makes the figurine lively and recognizable to anyone who loves dachshunds, dog figurines, and classic Danish porcelain.

Allan Therkelsen has given the figurine a soft and natural expression, where the relaxed position and the long drooping ears create a fine balance between humor and simple design. The glaze appears in subdued gray and warm beige shades, which suit the motif and give the porcelain figurine a calm, harmonious expression. It is precisely this kind of small details that make Royal Copenhagen figurines popular among both collectors and dog lovers.

This dachshund is part of Royal Copenhagen's series of mini dogs and is according to the existing product information one figurine in a series of 12 puppies. This makes it ideal as a collector's figurine, but also as a decorative gift idea for the dachshund owner or for someone who appreciates Danish design with a warm and human expression. The figurine looks beautiful on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as a small personal detail in the home decor.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to add soul and history to the home. They are created to last, to be taken care of, and to be given new life in new surroundings. That is precisely why a vintage dog figurine in porcelain is also a sustainable choice for you who would like to decorate with quality and character rather than new production.
