Royal Copenhagen figurine Two children with dog no. 707 or 070

This Royal Copenhagen figurine with two children and a small puppy captures a warm and intimate moment, where care, security and the quiet presence of childhood are gathered in one composition. The two children sit close together and hold the little dog close to them, giving the motif a calm and loving radiance that makes the figurine ideal for collectors of children's figurines and classic Danish porcelain.

The motif is finely modeled with soft shapes and a natural interplay between the children and the dog. The girl is dressed in a light dress, while the child beside her wears a blue outfit, and the small dog is rendered in darker shades, creating a beautiful contrast in the figurine. The downcast gazes and the close arms around the puppy give the porcelain figurine a very human expression, where one can almost feel the tenderness in the motif.

The figurine is designed by Christian Thomsen and made in porcelain with underglaze, which supports the gentle color transitions and the glossy surface for which Royal Copenhagen is known and appreciated. It is a figurine that appeals both to the collector of Royal Copenhagen figurines and to you who want a children's figurine with dog as a personal detail in the home. It fits beautifully in a display cabinet collection, on a shelf or as part of an arrangement with other porcelain figurines with children, animals and family life.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they bring history, craftsmanship and character into the interior. Choosing a figurine with soul and provenance is also a beautiful way to preserve classic quality and give timeless design new life in a modern home. The figurine is also an obvious gift idea for someone who loves dogs, children's motifs or Danish porcelain art.
