Royal Copenhagen Mini Summer and Winter Children girl with dog no. 269

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 269 from the Mini Summer and Winter Children series depicts a small everyday moment with warmth and personality. The figurine portrays a girl with dog, standing with an open umbrella in her hand, while the dog sits close by her side and looks up at her. The motif has a calm and recognizable expression, where the interaction between child and animal gives the figurine life and presence.

The fine details make this porcelain figurine easy to cherish. The girl is dressed in a blue dress over a light blouse, and the red bows in her hair add a fresh play of color. The umbrella emphasizes the little story in the motif, and the dog's attentive posture gives the scene charm. It is precisely this type of narrative figurines that has made Royal Copenhagen figurines popular among both collectors and those who want classic Danish porcelain with motif and atmosphere.

The figurine is designed by Sven Vestergaard and executed in underglaze, which helps to give the soft color transitions and the calm surface that suits the motif so well. As part of the Mini Summer and Winter Children series, this porcelain figurine belongs among the figurines many collectors seek to expand or complete the series. At the same time, it also stands strongly on its own as a decorative child figurine with dog, which fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as a personal gift for a collector of Royal Copenhagen.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to bring history and soul into the interior. They are created to last a long time and can gain new life in modern homes, where classic Danish design and fine craftsmanship are still appreciated. Therefore, this figurine is not only interesting as a collector's item, but also as a sustainable choice for you who prefer quality with lasting value.
