Royal Copenhagen boy with dog mini figurine no. 125

Royal Copenhagen mini figurine no. 125 depicts a small boy sitting close to his dog in a calm and warm moment. The motif has an immediate closeness that makes the figurine easy to love - the child places his hands on the dog, and the interaction between the two gives the porcelain figurine life, personality, and a lovely story about friendship between child and animal.

The figurine is designed with the soft, rounded shapes that suit this type of child figurine so well. The boy is seen in a light blue sweater with small dark details and blue trousers, while the dog is painted in a warm brown tone with a red collar. The colors emphasize the friendly expression and make the figurine decorative both on its own and together with other porcelain figurines in the same mood. It is a figurine that fits beautifully into a collection of child figurines, animal figurines, or classic Danish porcelain.

The artist behind it is Sven Vestergaard, and the figurine bears his sure sense of character and storytelling in the small format. As a mini figurine from Royal Copenhagen, it is ideal for collectors who appreciate the smaller porcelain figurines, but also for you who want a personal detail for the shelf, display cabinet, or children's room. The motif of boy and dog also makes it an obvious gift idea for the dog lover or for the one who collects figurines with children and animals.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they are created to be preserved and appreciated for many years. Choosing vintage and classic porcelain is at the same time a beautiful way to give fine craftsmanship new life. The figurine adds history, soul, and a touch of Danish design tradition to the home, which still feels present today.
