Royal Copenhagen Mini Summer and Winter Children Boy with lantern no. 260

Royal Copenhagen figure no. 260 depicts a boy with a lantern from the Mini Summer and Winter Children series. The motif has a warm and lively winter atmosphere, where the little boy stands with the square lantern by his side and one hand raised, as if he is in the process of greeting or calling. The clear colors in the blue hat with tassel, the red scarf, the light sweater with dots and the gray boots give the figure a charming and recognizable expression that fits beautifully into a classic Danish figure collection.

This porcelain figure is designed by Sven Vestergaard and belongs to the popular Mini Summer and Winter Children series, which consists of 12 children. The series is known for its small everyday scenes with children, where season, clothing and movement help create personality in each individual figure. The boy with lantern is therefore both a fine standalone figure and an obvious choice for you who collect Royal Copenhagen Mini Summer and Winter Children and would like to supplement or expand the series.

The figure is made in porcelain with underglaze, which emphasizes the solid craftsmanship and the classic Royal Copenhagen tradition. It is precisely the combination of the narrative figure, the soft shapes and the confident coloring that makes this model interesting for collectors of Danish porcelain figures. At the same time, the motif is easy to place in the home, where it can stand in a display cabinet, on a shelf or together with other child figures and winter motifs.

Older porcelain figures like this have a special ability to add soul and history to the interior. They are created to last and can continue to bring joy for many years to come, both as a collector's item and as a personal gift idea for someone who is fond of Royal Copenhagen, Danish design and figures with a story.
