Royal Copenhagen Orchestra 2023 Angel with violin no. 096

Royal Copenhagen Orchestra 2023 Angel with violin no. 096 is an atmospheric angel figurine and Christmas ornament in porcelain, created in the classic blue and white shades with fine gold decoration. The figure depicts an angel holding her violin close to her body, and the expression is calm, simple and solemn in the way that makes Christmas decorations from Royal Copenhagen particularly recognizable in Nordic interior design.

The soft transition from white through light blue to deeper blue gives the figure a light and harmonious expression, while the golden details around the halo and on the violin add warmth and shine. The dark hanging cord creates a beautiful contrast and makes the angel suitable as a hanging ornament on the Christmas tree, a branch or a decorative hook. At the same time, the figure has a shape that also makes it beautiful as standing decoration in an arrangement with other Christmas porcelain.

This angel with violin is part of Royal Copenhagen's Orchestra 2023 and matches particularly well with the other angel figurines in the series, if you wish to assemble a small porcelain orchestra with a musical Christmas theme. The well-known blue-white colour scale also matches beautifully with Royal Copenhagen's Christmas plates and other collectibles, so the figure can easily be included in both classic and modern Christmas decorations.

In the existing story of the series, the figure is linked to the white angels from Bing & Grøndahl, which were first produced in 1955, but here in a reinterpretation with Royal Copenhagen's characteristic universe of colours. This makes the angel interesting both for collectors of Christmas figurines, porcelain angels and Royal Copenhagen ornaments and for those who simply want a complete and atmospheric Christmas decoration with a musical motif.

As a gift idea, an angel with violin is also an obvious choice for someone who is fond of music, angel figurines and Danish porcelain design. The small figure contains both tradition, collecting joy and the special calm that belongs to Christmas.
