Staffan Lucia boy Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 037

Staffan Lucia boy from Royal Copenhagen is an atmospheric Christmas figurine in porcelain that connects beautifully to the Lucia tradition and the special light of the month of December. The figurine is shaped as a boy in a long white robe with golden details and a tall, pointed hat decorated with stars. In his hand he holds a golden star, which makes the motif easily recognizable and gives the figurine a clear expression of Lucia procession, Christmas song, and Nordic Christmas tradition.

The motif is simple, but full of story. The calm facial expression, the upright posture, and the light colors give the figurine a fine solemnity that suits classic Christmas decorations well. The white glaze and the golden accents create a beautiful contrast that makes this Royal Copenhagen figurine suitable both as an independent Christmas decoration and as part of a larger display with other Lucia figurines, angels, or Christmas figurines in porcelain.

The figurine is designed by Ingrid Jensen and executed in underglaze, which underscores the connection to Royal Copenhagen's tradition-rich porcelain craftsmanship. For collectors, Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 037 is an interesting model that can naturally be included in a collection of Lucia figurines, Christmas figurines, or other small porcelain figurines with a seasonal motif. At the same time, it works well on its own on a shelf, in the windowsill, or on the Christmas table, where it adds a calm and bright December atmosphere.

A figurine like this appeals both to collectors and to those who are fond of Danish design and Christmas decorations with history and personality. It is also an obvious gift idea for someone who appreciates Lucia traditions, porcelain figurines, and classic Christmas motifs that can be brought out year after year.
