Royal Copenhagen Annual Viking 2006 Harald figurine

Royal Copenhagen Annual Viking 2006 Harald is a charming porcelain figurine that combines Nordic storytelling with the calm, classic expression that many collectors appreciate. The figurine depicts the young Viking boy Harald with helmet, cape, axe and shield, and the motif balances nicely between historical inspiration and a friendly, childlike expression. This makes it a figurine that both inspires collector's delight and adds personality to the décor.

Harald stands with a round shield decorated with red intertwined lines and a golden central detail, while the blue cape falls softly around the shoulders. The light costume, the brown strap details and the grey helmet with horns create an atmospheric Viking motif with many fine details to explore. The figurine has a gentle facial expression and a posture that gives it life and character without seeming dramatic.

This figurine is part of Royal Copenhagen's Annual Vikings series and is designed by Sven Vestergaard. The connection to the named series is precisely what makes Harald particularly interesting for collectors who wish to expand or complete their collection of Annual Viking figurines. At the same time, he also works beautifully on his own as a decorative porcelain figurine with storytelling, history and a touch of Nordic cultural heritage.

The underglaze decoration emphasises the figurine's classic porcelain expression and contributes to the depth and lustre that characterise Royal Copenhagen. For those who appreciate figurines with history and durability, this is also a good example of how quality design can be preserved and continue to bring joy to the home year after year. A Viking figurine like Harald fits beautifully in the display cabinet, on the shelf or as a gift for the collector who is fond of Danish porcelain and figurine series with identity.
