Bing & Grøndahl Annual Angel Children 2007 girl with mandolin

Annual Angel Children 2007, girl with mandolin, is a charming angel figurine from Bing & Grøndahl, created with the calm and poetic expression that has made the series beloved among collectors. The figurine shows an angel child standing with a mandolin in her hands, ready to spread a quiet, musical Christmas atmosphere. The light porcelain, the soft shapes and the fine color details give the figurine a warm and lively expression that fits beautifully into both classic and modern Christmas decorations.

The angel child is designed by Sven Vestergaard and belongs to the Annual Angel Children series, in which two figurines were released in 2007. Here the motif is the girl with mandolin, depicted with braids, red bows, white wings and an instrument in light golden shades. The combination of the simple design language and the delicate underglaze colors gives the figurine a special calm, which makes it ideal as a collector's figurine, Christmas figurine or gift for someone who loves Danish porcelain and Christmas traditions.

As a porcelain figurine, it has a decorative size and a motif that is easy to place in the home. It can stand alone as a small mood-creator on the windowsill, on a shelf or as part of a display with other angel figurines, pixies or Christmas decorations from Bing & Grøndahl and Royal Copenhagen. The musical detail with the mandolin also makes it ideal for those who collect figurines with instruments or want Christmas decorations with a more narrative motif.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to add personality and history to the home. Choosing a figurine with collector's value and long durability is also a fine way to let good craftsmanship live on and create joy year after year, especially at Christmastime when traditions and memories gain extra significance.
