Royal Copenhagen polar fox cubs figurine no. 445 Allan Therkelsen

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 445 depicts two polar fox cubs in a close and lively interaction. One cub stands attentively with its head slightly bowed, while the other steps forward with a small branch in its mouth. The motif gives the figurine a narrative character, where play, curiosity and closeness between the animals become a natural part of the expression. For collectors of animal figurines and porcelain figurines, it is a model that stands out with its calm, lifelike formal language.

Allan Therkelsen has created a figurine in which movement and contact between the two animals are at the center. The soft transitions in the gray and white decoration emphasize the fur and give the figurine depth, while the underglaze technique contributes to the clear and harmonious expression that many associate with Royal Copenhagen porcelain. The figurine fits well among other animal figurines from Royal Copenhagen, but also has enough strength to stand alone as a decorative feature on the bookshelf, in the display cabinet or on a shelf, where the small details are allowed to come into their own.

The motif with polar fox cubs makes the figurine ideal for you who are fond of Nordic animal motifs, classic Danish design and porcelain with character. At the same time, it is an obvious gift idea for collectors or for someone who wants to decorate with small art objects that create warmth and personality in the home. A figurine like this combines craftsmanship and storytelling in a format that is easy to place and easy to enjoy for many years.
