Royal Copenhagen Girl with ducks figurine no. 450 Allan Therkelsen

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 450, Girl with ducks, captures a calm moment from life in the countryside. The figurine shows a girl in a light dress with small blue details, braids and a basket on her arm, while two ducks follow her closely around her feet. Together with the small bucket beside her, a story is created about farm life, the small chores of the day and the close contact between child and animals.

The motif has a warm and down-to-earth atmosphere, which makes the figurine ideal for collectors of child figurines, farm figurines and Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurines. Allan Therkelsen has given the figurine a lively expression with a natural posture and fine details that make the motif easy to explore from several angles. The soft shapes and the subdued color scheme support the classic porcelain style that many associate with Royal Copenhagen.

The current text links the figurine to figurine series 2006, Children with farm animals, and that fits well with the motif's simple story about children and animals in rural surroundings. Precisely for that reason, it is also an obvious choice for a collection of child figurines, animal figurines or Danish design porcelain. The figurine adds a quiet and personal atmosphere to the home, whether it is placed in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a larger arrangement with other porcelain figurines.

Older and classic figurines like this have a special charm because they bring both history, craftsmanship and personality into the décor. Choosing a figurine with soul and durability is at the same time a beautiful way to give good design new life. This makes this Royal Copenhagen figurine a gift idea for collectors or for you who are fond of porcelain with a story.
