Royal Copenhagen elephant figurine no. 686 Fortuna lucky figurine

Royal Copenhagen elephant figurine no. 686 from the Fortuna series is a charming porcelain figurine with a calm and friendly expression. The small elephant stands with its trunk raised, closed eyes and large ears, which give the figurine a soft and welcoming character. The grey glaze is kept in subdued shades, while the light pink details in the ears add warmth and life to the figurine.

As a lucky figurine, the elephant has a special appeal and is ideal for those who appreciate classic Danish design with symbolic meaning. It works well as a decorative figurine on a shelf, in a windowsill or on a small side table, where it can stand alone or be combined with other animal figurines in porcelain. The motif also makes it suitable as a gift idea for collectors or for someone who appreciates figurines with personality and history.

The Fortuna series from Royal Copenhagen is known for small figurines with a friendly and decorative expression, and this particular elephant has a shape that makes it easy to place in the home. The rounded lines, the upward-curved trunk and the simple colour scheme give the figurine a harmonious expression that works both in a classic interior and as a cosy feature in a more modern home. Older porcelain figurines like this one are at the same time a good choice for those who would like to decorate with quality items that deserve to be preserved and passed on through generations.
