Royal Copenhagen Annual Christmas Tree 2009 with gold star

Royal Copenhagen Annual Christmas Tree 2009 is a charming Christmas figurine that brings together many of Christmas's classic symbols in one motif. The green Christmas tree is decorated with a golden star at the top and small ornaments that give the figurine a lively and narrative expression. On the presents under the tree, the year "2009" can be seen, which makes this edition easily recognizable for collectors of Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurines and annual figurines.

The design is created by Sven Vestergaard, and this very edition has a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere, where the Christmas tree is decorated with, among other things, a drum, heart, rocking horse, angel and a small horn. The many details make the figurine exciting to explore, and it works both as standalone Christmas decoration and as part of a larger collection of Christmas figurines in porcelain.

The Annual Christmas Tree series was started in 2007, and since then a new Christmas tree has been released every year. The series has become very popular, and many of the Christmas trees are today difficult to obtain. Therefore, the individual annual editions are sought after among collectors who would like to expand or complete their collection. Today, many collect these Christmas trees together with the annual Santas and Christmas wives, and the 2009 edition fits naturally into that tradition.

As an older Royal Copenhagen figurine, this Christmas tree figurine also has the special quality that makes it meaningful to choose design with history. It is a lovely way to bring classic Danish Christmas decoration into the home, while beautiful porcelain is given new life year after year. The figurine can stand alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of an atmospheric Christmas arrangement.
