Bing & Grøndahl peacock rooster figurine no. 1628 Dahl Jensen

Bing & Grøndahl peacock rooster figurine no. 1628 is a characterful porcelain figurine with a calm and proud expression. The peacock stands upright with its head slightly raised, while the long tail falls in a soft, almost flowing movement behind the body. This gives the figurine a special balance between calm and splendor, which makes it a natural eye-catcher in the interior.

The motif is executed with fine color transitions, where the dark blue neck and breast stand beautifully against the light, cream-colored and gray-toned wings. The tail is kept in muted green-blue shades with the characteristic eye spots, which emphasize the peacock's decorative nature. The white base lifts the figurine slightly and gives the whole a clear, classic expression. For you who are looking for a Bing & Grøndahl bird figurine or a porcelain figurine with a peacock, this is a model with both presence and a strong visual identity.

The figurine is designed by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen for Bing & Grøndahl. His animal figurines are known and appreciated for their sure sense of anatomy, posture, and life in the motif, and this is clearly felt here. Peacock rooster no. 1628 combines naturalism and decorative strength in a way that makes it interesting both for collectors of B&G figurines and for you who want a piece of classic Danish design with personality.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a quality and durability that make them worth preserving and continuing to use. They add history, soul, and a more personal touch to the home than much newly produced interior decor. The figurine can stand alone on a shelf, on a side table, or in a display cabinet, but it also works beautifully together with other bird figurines or ceramic and porcelain objects in calm colors. As a gift, it is an obvious choice for the collector, the bird lover, or the person who appreciates Danish porcelain with history.
