Bing & Grøndahl mouse figurine no. 1718 7.5 cm

Bing & Grøndahl mouse figurine no. 1718 is a charming porcelain figurine that captures the mouse's alert and lively expression in a small, well-balanced format. The figurine is made as an upright mouse with a raised forepaw, round body and long tail that curls along the base. This gives the figurine a natural and narrative character, making it interesting to look at from several angles.

The small mouse figurine has a calm and classic design language that fits well into both traditional and more personal homes. Animal figurines from Bing & Grøndahl are especially sought after among collectors and by those who are fond of Danish porcelain with character. Here you get a porcelain figurine that functions both as a decorative detail in the display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a larger collection of animal figurines.

The modest size of 7.5 cm makes the figurine easy to place, and it can easily be combined with other small porcelain figurines, to which it adds variation and a lively expression. The underglaze technique supports the figurine's classic character and helps to highlight the soft shapes and the fine details in the modelling. For those of you looking for a Bing & Grøndahl figurine with a mouse, this is a decorative model that combines collector's delight, Danish design tradition and a motif that still feels present.

As a gift, a small porcelain mouse is also an obvious choice for the collector, for the animal lover or for the one who appreciates older figurines and decorative art with personality. It is exactly the type of porcelain figurine that easily finds its place in the home and can continue to bring joy for many years.
