Bing & Grøndahl Setter dog figurine no. 1904 Lauritz Jensen

Bing & Grøndahl dog figurine no. 1904 is a classic setter figurine with a calm and lifelike expression, which makes it ideal for collectors of Danish porcelain and dog figurines. The figurine is designed by Lauritz Jensen and shows the dog sitting with an attentive, dignified gaze and fine markings that emphasize the character of the breed. The simple color scheme and the soft modeling give the figurine a vivid expression that fits beautifully into both classic and modern homes.

This porcelain figurine is made in underglaze, a technique that is known and appreciated for its durability and its calm, harmonious expression. It is precisely the combination of Lauritz Jensen's assured formal language and Bing & Grøndahl's strong tradition for animal figurines that makes the model sought after among collectors. For many, older porcelain figurines are also a special way to bring history, craftsmanship, and personality into the decor. A figurine like this has a timeless quality that makes it relevant both as a collector's item and as a decorative detail on a shelf, sideboard, or display cabinet.

A setter figurine like this is also an ideal gift idea for the dog lover, the hunter, or the collector of Bing & Grøndahl porcelain. It works well on its own, but can also be combined with other animal figurines in porcelain if one wishes to create a personal collection with Danish design and decorative art with history. Choosing an older porcelain figurine is at the same time a beautiful way to give fine craftsmanship new life and let quality objects continue to create joy through generations.
