Bing & Grøndahl Pointer dog figurine no. 2075, 18 cm

Bing & Grøndahl Pointer dog figurine no. 2075 is a porcelain figurine with a calm and lifelike expression. The standing pointer is modelled in an attentive posture with raised tail, slightly extended body and an alert gaze, which gives the figurine life and presence. The soft brown markings against the light glaze emphasize the dog's characteristic appearance and make the figurine a fine choice for both dog enthusiasts and collectors of Danish porcelain.

The motif has a special balance between the hunting dog's proud posture and the quiet calm that characterizes many classic animal figurines from Bing & Grøndahl. This is not an over-decorated figurine, but a dog figurine in porcelain, where form, proportions and posture are allowed to carry the whole. This makes it easy to place in the interior, whether it is to stand in a display cabinet, on a shelf, a desk or together with other animal figurines in porcelain.

As a Bing & Grøndahl figurine, this pointer is also ideal for collecting, especially if you are fond of dog figurines, hunting dog motifs or classic Danish porcelain. Underglaze gives the surface a beautiful, cohesive expression, and the size of the figurine makes it decorative without seeming heavy in the interior. It can stand alone as a characterful object or be combined with other porcelain figurines for a more personal expression.

It is also a gift idea with appeal to anyone who is fond of pointers, hunting dogs or older Danish design tradition. A porcelain figurine like this adds personality to the home and says something about both craftsmanship and love of animal motifs.
