Bing & Grøndahl annual figurine 2004 Girl with hen RC no. 1249133

Bing & Grøndahl annual figurine 2004, "Girl with hen", is a charming porcelain figurine with a warm and narrative motif from childhood and everyday rural life. The figurine shows a girl in a blue dress with her hair put up in two buns, while she stands with a brown hen in her arms. At her feet is a small basket with eggs, which emphasizes the close connection between the child, the animal, and the farm setting.

The motif has a calm and present atmosphere, which makes the figurine easy to love. It is part of Bing & Grøndahl's annual figurines and belongs to the series "My best friend", where the relationship between child and animal is at the center. Here, it is the simple, recognizable moment that makes the figurine come alive - a small story in porcelain, shaped with an eye for both expression and detail.

The annual figurine is designed by Sven Vestergaard and executed in underglaze, which gives the soft colors and the fine surface a classic expression. The combination of the blue dress, the reddish hen, and the light basket creates a harmonious whole that fits beautifully into both modern and more traditional interiors. The figurine works beautifully on its own, but will also be an obvious choice for collectors who wish to supplement or complete the series "My best friend". According to the existing product text, this is the last figurine in the series, which makes it extra interesting for collectors of Bing & Grøndahl figurines and annual figurines.

A figurine like this adds personality and history to the home. It can be placed in a display cabinet, on a shelf, or as part of a collection of Danish porcelain figurines. At the same time, it is a fine gift idea for anyone who is fond of classic Bing & Grøndahl porcelain, animal figurines, or figurines with children and a narrative motif.
