About the product
This American Drummer Boy is one of a limited production of only 750 pieces. Produced to mark the 200th day of the United States Independence day. The figurine was produced in 1975 in white Bisquit Porcelain.
NOTE: This figure was originally delivered with Bisquit sticks, these were however very oblique, and comes today with wood sticks, as shown on the photo.
Inscription: American Drummer Boy, 1st Maryland circa 1776. Design: J. Bromley Drummers were often used to drum together the soldiers at the time og the war of independence. The drummers were often young bay, hence the term drummer boys. This drummer is a grown mand however.
