Lladro figurine water carrier young woman with water jugs 33 cm

This Lladro figurine depicts a young woman as a water carrier, captured in a calm and upright movement with two water jugs. One jug is carried on the head, while the other rests against the hip, and it is precisely that balance that gives the figurine a lively and characterful expression. The motif brings to mind everyday life, tradition and the work of fetching water, but conveyed with the quiet poetry that many collectors associate with Lladro porcelain figurines.

The figurine is made with a fine sense of pose and drapery. The long light skirt has a beautiful weight, while the top in light blue shades and the headscarf create contrast with the darker clay jugs. The face is modeled with a gentle and thoughtful expression, which gives the figurine presence. From all angles the movement is experienced differently, and therefore it works particularly well as a porcelain figurine in a place where it can be seen freely in the room.

As a human figurine and female figurine, this water carrier has both decorative strength and collector appeal. Lladro is known for figurines that unite storytelling and craftsmanship, and this model has a classic atmosphere that fits beautifully into both modern and more traditional interiors. It looks good in a display cabinet, on a chest of drawers or as part of a collection of Spanish porcelain figurines and other figurines with people, everyday scenes and cultural motifs.

Older figurines with history add personality and soul to the home. When you choose a figurine like this, you are at the same time choosing a piece of design and craftsmanship that is created to be preserved and appreciated for many years. That also makes it an obvious gift idea for collectors or for someone who is fond of porcelain figurines with narrative, movement and human motif.
