Dahl Jensen wire-haired fox terrier standing no. 1001 porcelain figurine

This standing wire-haired fox terrier from Dahl Jensen is a classic porcelain figurine with a lively and attentive expression. The figurine shows the dog in an alert, upright stance with raised tail and the head turned slightly to the side, so that one truly senses the breed's curious and energetic character. It is precisely the kind of animal figurine that makes Dahl Jensen sought after among collectors of Danish porcelain and dog figurines.

The model is executed with a fine sense of the dog's build and movement. The light glaze is combined with dark markings over the back, tail and head, which give the figurine depth and a lifelike character. The defined ears, the focused gaze and the assured posture make the porcelain figurine decorative from every angle, whether it is placed in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a larger collection of animal figurines.

Jens Peter Dahl Jensen is known for his figurine models, where both anatomy and personality come together in a higher unity, and this fox terrier is a good example of exactly that. For collectors, the model number is an important detail, and no. 1001 makes the figurine easy to identify. At the same time, it is a figurine that also appeals to dog lovers and to those of you who are fond of older design with character and artisanal substance.

A vintage porcelain figurine like this adds something personal and lasting to the home. It fits nicely into both classic and modern interiors, where it can create warmth, history and a more individual expression. It is also an obvious gift idea for collectors, terrier owners or anyone who appreciates Danish porcelain with soul and history.
