Dahl Jensen dog figurine Griffon Belge no. 1120, H 6 cm

Dahl Jensen dog figurine no. 1120 depicts a Griffon Belge in a calm seated posture with the head raised slightly at an angle. The expression is lively and attentive, and the figurine has the special ability to seem present despite its modest size. The soft transitions in the porcelain and the muted shades emphasize the dog's shape, coat and character in a subdued and harmonious way.

It is precisely the fine observation of the animal's posture and temperament that makes Dahl Jensen dog figurines so sought after among collectors. Here, Jens Peter Dahl Jensen has created a small porcelain figurine with hanging ears, a compact body and a face with a gentle, almost questioning gaze. The figurine is made in porcelain with underglaze, which gives the surface depth and a beautiful, lasting sheen.

As an older porcelain figurine, this Griffon Belge also contains the quality and history that many like to pass on. Classic animal figurines like this add personality to the home and are a good choice for those who appreciate Danish design, fine craftsmanship and the sustainability of choosing things that have already proven their durability over time. It fits beautifully in the display cabinet, on a shelf or as a small decorative detail on the desk.

For collectors of Dahl Jensen, for the dog lover or as a gift for someone who appreciates porcelain figurines, no. 1120 is an atmospheric choice. The small size makes it easy to place alone or together with other dog figurines and animal figurines in a collection.
