Dahl Jensen angel/Cupid with rose white figurine no. 1163

Dahl Jensen figurine no. 1163 depicts a small angel or cupid, rendered in white with a calm and dreamy expression. The figurine sits curled up with its knees drawn up, while holding a rose close to its cheek. The small wings and the thoughtful posture give the motif a gentle, poetic atmosphere that fits beautifully into both classic and romantic interiors.

It is precisely the interplay between form and feeling that makes this Dahl Jensen figurine so appealing. The short hair, the delicate facial features, the defined wings and the rose at the shoulder are modelled with a sure hand, so the figurine comes to life from all angles. The white surface emphasises the motif's pure and quiet character and lets the light play beautifully across the figurine's soft lines.

The artist behind it is Jens Peter Dahl Jensen, who is known for figurines with presence, sensitivity and a strong sense of form. Here, those qualities are seen in a motif that can be read as both angel and cupid and therefore appeals broadly to collectors of Danish figurines, porcelain figurines and classic decorative art. The figurine works well as a year-round decoration, but also fits naturally into Christmas decorations, romantic interiors or as a gift idea for someone who loves angel figurines and older Danish design with history.

Older figurines like this have a special ability to add personality and soul to the home. When you choose a vintage figurine from Dahl Jensen, you get not just a decorative object, but also a piece of design history, created to be appreciated and preserved through generations.
