Kosta Boda glass figurine 1970 mother - Kosta Sweden Family

This glass figurine from Kosta Boda combines Scandinavian design, collector's delight and a warm family theme in one single expression. The figurine depicts mother in the Kosta Sweden Family series and is made of clear glass with a stylized face, golden hair details and floral decorations that give it a calm and poetic touch. At the bottom of the figurine stands the year "1970", which is an important part of its identity and collector's value.

The motif is simple and full of character. The soft, rounded shape emphasizes the weight and clarity of the glass, while the fine lines in the face and the decorative flowers create a personal and almost narrative expression. As a glass figurine and human figurine, it is suitable both for collectors of Swedish art glass and for those who are fond of older design objects with soul and history.

Kosta Boda is known for glass design with a strong sense of form, and this figurine is a fine example of exactly that. The Kosta Sweden Family series has a special charm because the figurines together form a family, but each individual figurine also stands beautifully on its own. The mother figurine is therefore ideal as a decorative glass figurine on the bookshelf, on a shelf or as part of a collection of vintage glass and Nordic design.

Older glass figurines like this have a very special ability to add personality to the home. Here you get not merely a decorative figurine, but also a piece of design history that can still create joy in a modern interior. For collectors of Kosta Boda, Swedish glass figurines and figurines with a family theme, this is a model that is both decorative and interesting.
