Royal Copenhagen Pekingese figurine no. 1452-1776, 12 cm

This Royal Copenhagen Pekingese figurine no. 1452-1776 is a classic dog figurine in porcelain with a calm and characterful expression. The figurine shows a Pekingese standing upright facing the viewer, with long hanging ears and an intense gaze that gives the model both personality and presence. The soft transitions between white, grey, and darker areas emphasize the fall of the fur and bring the figurine to life from every angle.

Peter Herold has created a dog figurine in which the breed's distinctive characteristics are rendered with a confident hand. The compact body shape, the short muzzle, and the full coat are modeled so that the figurine appears both lifelike and decorative. The glazed surface highlights the fine nuances in the decoration, and the slender, upright format makes the figurine easy to place on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or together with other animal figurines from Royal Copenhagen.

As an older porcelain figurine, this Pekingese also holds the special charm that only design with history can add to a home. It is precisely the type of applied art and collectors' items that still bring joy many years after they were created. A figurine like this is suitable both for the collector of Royal Copenhagen dog figurines and for you who want a piece of Danish porcelain design with soul and a more personal expression in the interior.

It is ideal as a gift for the dog lover, for the collector of animal figurines, or as a small porcelain detail that creates warmth and storytelling in the home. It works beautifully on its own, but can also be combined with other porcelain figurines for a lively and cohesive expression.
