Bing & Grøndahl rabbit figurine no. 1874 - Niels Nielsen 6 cm

Bing & Grøndahl rabbit figurine no. 1874 is a small porcelain figurine with a calm and lifelike expression. The rabbit is modelled low against the surface in a resting position, which gives the figurine a quiet sense of closeness and a fine impression of the animal's natural movement. It is precisely the type of animal figurine that makes classic Danish porcelain so sought-after among both collectors and those who appreciate discreet details in the interior.

The figurine is designed by Niels Nielsen and made in porcelain with underglaze. The simple form and the soft, subdued expression make it easy to place in the home, where it fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet arrangement or as part of a collection of Bing & Grøndahl figurines. The small size also makes the figurine an obvious gift for a collector or for someone who appreciates Danish design with history and personality.

A porcelain figurine like this brings something special into the home. It unites good form language, craftsmanship and a world of motifs that still speaks to us. Animal figurines from Bing & Grøndahl have for many years been appreciated for their character and their ability to create life in the interior without seeming ostentatious. This rabbit has a simple, peaceful expression, which makes it easy to combine with both other porcelain, glass and decorative art.

For you who choose older porcelain and design with soul, it is also a beautiful way to let quality objects live on. A figurine like this adds warmth, history and originality to the home and is at the same time a sustainable choice when one prefers existing craftsmanship over new production.
