About the product

1970 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate with the title Sparrow with her Young Ones was designed by Henry Thelander. The motif of the 1970 Bing & Grondahl shows a sparrow feeding her chicks in the bird's nest. The nest is as usual made of feathers, straw and perhaps some strip of paper or plastic. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plates were started in 1969 and are still being continued with a new Mother's Day plate every year.
