About the product

1985 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate with the title Bear with Cubs was designed by Henry Thelander. The motif of the 1985 Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plate shows a mother bear with her cubs. The Brown Bear gets her cubs in the winter lair and the bear cubs are not ready to get out from the lair before they are approximate four months. When the cubs are 1½ to 2 years old they are able to survive by themselves. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plates were started in 1969 and are still being continued with a new Mother's Day plate every year.
