Johannes Hedegaard (1915-1999) was a Danish sculptor.
Johannes Hedegaard finished his training at Royal Copenhagen in 1935 and thus got one of the best educations in his field. He is best known for his naturalistic but simplified style.
The most known works from the hand of Johannes Hedegaard are his beautiful female busts that were made in collaboration with the Danish Faience factory Aluminia. The busts are from the 40's and are unique in their combination of the raw material as surface on some of the bust and a beautiful glazing on another part of the bust.
