Bing & Grøndahl Youthful Boldness figurine no. 2162 or 447

"Youthful Boldness" is a Bing & Grøndahl figurine that captures a light, lively and romantic moment between a boy and a girl. The figurine shows the two children in close interaction, where the boy in blue leans forward toward the girl in the light dress, and the motif gains a fine sense of movement, shyness and youthful closeness. It is precisely the kind of porcelain figurine that tells a story without many words.

Claire Weiss has, with a sure sense of posture and atmosphere, created a child figurine with character. The white dress with small discreet decorations and the boy's deep blue clothing give the figurine a beautiful contrast, which suits the classic Bing & Grøndahl expression. The oval base gathers the motif calmly and makes the figurine suitable both as standalone decoration and as part of a larger collection of porcelain figurines with children.

This porcelain figurine is made in underglaze, which emphasizes the traditional quality and the fine craftsmanship that many collectors associate with Bing & Grøndahl and Royal Copenhagen. The motif appeals both to collectors of B&G figurines and to those of you who are looking for a figurine with warmth, personality and a classic Danish design expression. As a vintage porcelain figurine, it also carries the special value found in preserving good craftsmanship and letting older design live on in today's homes.

"Youthful Boldness" fits beautifully in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of an arrangement with other child figurines and classic porcelain figurines. It can also be an obvious gift idea for a collector or for someone who is fond of Danish porcelain art with history and soul.
