Royal Copenhagen Else eating ice cream figurine no. 673

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 673, "Else eating ice cream", captures a quiet and recognizable moment from childhood. The little girl sits on the ground with her legs in front of her, slightly bent forward, while holding her ice cream in her hand. The deep blue dress, the light details, and the calm posture give the porcelain figurine a warm and everyday expression that makes it easy to love.

The motif is simple, but full of life. You can almost sense the child's concentration in the way she sits, with her gaze turned downward and the ice cream raised in her hand. It is precisely this type of child figurine that has made classic porcelain figurines from Royal Copenhagen so sought-after among collectors and everyone who appreciates Danish design with narrative and personality.

The figurine is made by Royal Copenhagen and is associated with the artist Ingeborg Plockross-Irminger, who is known for her child figurines with natural movements and a fine eye for the small moments of everyday life. Here, the motif is shaped in porcelain and decorated in underglaze, which gives it the glossy surface and the clear blue shades that characterize many classic figurines from the factory.

"Else eating ice cream" fits beautifully in a collection of child figurines, but it also works well alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as a personal gift for someone who appreciates Danish porcelain, vintage figurines, and timeless craftsmanship. Older porcelain figurines like this bring history and soul into the home and are at the same time a sustainable choice, because quality objects are allowed to live on and create joy in new surroundings.

It is a figurine for collectors of Royal Copenhagen, for those seeking a classic girl figurine in porcelain, and for everyone who appreciates decorative figurines with charm, calm, and recognizable humanity.
