Royal Copenhagen annual figurine 2025 baby rhinoceros

Royal Copenhagen annual figurine 2025 depicts a baby rhinoceros in a calm and present portrayal, where the small animal stands with upright ears, heavy body and a fine, attentive expression. The figurine contains that special blend of strength and vulnerability that makes the motif so captivating. The soft grey shades and the glossy surface give the baby rhinoceros life and depth, while the modelled folds in the skin emphasise the figurine's character and lifelike expression.

As an annual figurine, this Royal Copenhagen figurine is linked to the tradition in which each year gets its own motif with collector's value and story. In 2025, the choice has fallen on the baby rhinoceros, an endangered animal species, which is here interpreted with warmth and respect. This makes the figurine more than just a porcelain figurine; it also becomes a small story about nature, care and the fascination with the world's wild animals.

The figurine is designed by Allan Therkelsen and executed in underglaze, which gives it a beautiful, durable and classic expression that fits naturally into Royal Copenhagen's design language. It works beautifully on its own on a shelf, in a display cabinet or on a desk, where the motif is allowed to stand out clearly. At the same time, it is ideal for collectors of Royal Copenhagen annual figurines who wish to follow the series year by year and expand the collection with precisely the 2025 figurine.

A baby rhinoceros like this is also an obvious gift idea for collectors, animal lovers or for someone who is fond of Danish design and porcelain figurines with motif and meaning. It is a figurine that can both create an eye-catcher in the interior and add a calm, vivid nature motif with a modern collector's character to the home.
