Royal Copenhagen babbling baby figurine no. 031 white

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 031 depicts a babbling baby in a calm and lively moment. The little baby lies on its back with its legs drawn up and its hands close to its feet, and the whole motif has a natural movement that makes the figurine warm and present. The white porcelain figurine has a clean, simple expression, where the child's soft shapes and relaxed posture are allowed to stand out clearly.

It is precisely this type of child figurine that Allan Therkelsen is known and appreciated for. Here, the motif is neither solemn nor stiff, but filled with everyday atmosphere and childlike spontaneity. The figurine captures a moment from early childhood that many will recognize: the little baby who babbles, kicks, and explores its own body with curiosity and calm. This makes the figurine ideal for collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines and for those who appreciate classic porcelain figurines with humanity and character.

The white glaze emphasizes the figurine's calm expression and makes it easy to place in the home. It fits beautifully on a shelf, in a bookcase, on a desk, or as part of a display with other white porcelain figurines. As a vintage figurine, it also has a special charm, because it carries on fine craftsmanship and design created to last and be appreciated for many years. Choosing older porcelain with history is at the same time a beautiful way to bring quality and sustainability into the interior.

This Royal Copenhagen baby figurine is also an ideal gift idea for a christening, maternity leave, or for a collector of Danish porcelain figurines. The motif speaks directly to those who appreciate classic Danish design, child figurines, and porcelain with a gentle radiance.
