Royal Copenhagen troll figurine no. 095 Big Brother with hedgehog

Big Brother with hedgehog is a charming Royal Copenhagen troll figurine, where Sven Vestergaard's imaginative design language meets the warm narrative that has made the Troll family a beloved series among collectors. The figurine shows big brother in blue trousers with suspenders, a white sweater and a walking stick in his hand, accompanied by a small hedgehog at his side. Together they create a motif with both movement, personality and a touch of fairytale forest.

The face is modeled with the characteristic troll features: curly hair, small horns, large ears and a warm, self-assured expression. The hedgehog is finely shaped with dark spines, a light face and small paws, which give the figurine extra life. The colors in the underglaze support the motif beautifully, especially the clear blue shades in the clothing, which go well with the warm tones in hair, skin and hedgehog.

As a porcelain figurine from Royal Copenhagen, this troll figurine combines humor, design and craftsmanship in a size and shape that make it suitable both as a collector's figurine and as a decorative detail in the home. It fits naturally together with other figurines from the Troll family, but also stands strong on its own in a bookcase, on a shelf or in a display cabinet, where the many fine details truly come into their own.

For those who appreciate Danish figurative art, Big Brother with hedgehog no. 095 is a motif with warmth and character. Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to add soul and personality to the home, while at the same time carrying forward the joy of good design that is made to last. That makes the figurine an obvious choice for both collectors of Royal Copenhagen and for you who would like to decorate with applied art and figurines with history.
