Royal Copenhagen pixie figurine with Yule goat no. 180, Sven Vestergaard

This Royal Copenhagen pixie figurine no. 180 combines classic Christmas coziness with a playful and narrative motif. The figurine shows a little pixie girl sitting on a Yule goat, made of porcelain with the warm red and light shades that suit Christmas decorations so beautifully. This gives the figurine a calm, nostalgic expression that fits beautifully into both traditional and more simple Nordic Christmas decor.

The motif has lots of personality. The pixie girl sits close to the Yule goat with a gentle smile and an expression that exudes winter fairy tales and old Christmas tradition. The red pixie hat with tassel, the small scarf, the red dress, and the striped stockings create a charming overall impression, while the Yule goat adds a folkloristic touch to the figurine, which many collectors of Royal Copenhagen pixies are especially fond of.

The figurine is designed by Sven Vestergaard and is a fine representative of the type of Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurines that over time have become popular as both collector's figurines and atmospheric Christmas decorations in porcelain. The underglaze technique supports the soft, classic expression and makes the figurine suitable for being displayed year after year. A porcelain pixie like this can be placed on a windowsill, on a shelf, on the Christmas table, or as part of a small pixie landscape together with other pixie figurines and Christmas decorations.

For those of you who appreciate older Christmas figurines with history, this is also a beautiful way to bring quality craftsmanship further into a modern home. A discontinued or older Royal Copenhagen pixie figurine often has precisely the soul and warmth that make Christmas decorations more personal. It works beautifully on its own, but is also ideal for those of you who collect Royal Copenhagen pixies and would like to supplement the collection with a figurine with a more narrative motif.
