Royal Copenhagen Mini Circus figure Tightrope walker with bicycle

Tightrope walker with bicycle from Royal Copenhagen is a charming porcelain figure that captures the lightness, balance and playful imagination of the circus world in a small format. The figure depicts a young circus girl in a pink costume with parasol and bicycle, placed by a small pedestal decorated in blue and white fields with a star motif. This gives the figure a lively expression, where movement and stage atmosphere merge beautifully together.

The motif has the special narrative that characterizes the Mini Circus series. Here one encounters a small circus universe filled with performance, acrobatics and poetic moments, and this particular figure brings associations to the art of balance, the ring and the enchanting atmosphere that makes circus figures so popular among collectors. The soft colors in pink, white and blue emphasize the light and adventurous expression.

The figure is designed by Sven Vestergaard and made in porcelain with underglaze, which gives it the classic quality associated with Royal Copenhagen. It works beautifully as a small decorative figure in the display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a personal collection of porcelain figures. For collectors of Mini Circus it is an obvious addition, but it also stands nicely on its own as a small figure with character and narrative.

Older porcelain figures like this have a special ability to add soul and personality to the home. They are created to last and can gain new life in modern interiors, where they contribute both history, craftsmanship and a more sustainable alternative to new production. It is precisely the type of decorative art and collector's item that continues to delight through generations.
