Royal Copenhagen zodiac figurine Gemini (22 May to 21 June) man no. 1249615

Royal Copenhagen zodiac figurine Gemini (22 May to 21 June) is a striking porcelain figurine with a modern and interpretive expression. The figurine depicts the male Gemini as a seated, nude male figure placed on a cubic plinth with a raw, textured surface. The open posture, the raised hands and the turned head give the figurine a vivid sense of conversation, curiosity and movement - qualities that suit the zodiac sign Gemini beautifully.

The design was created by Pia Langelund for Royal Copenhagen and is part of the series of male zodiac figurines, which was launched in 2010. Here, the zodiac sign is not rendered as traditional decoration, but as a sculptural interpretation with distinct personality. This makes the figurine ideal for both collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines and for those seeking a personal gift with symbolic meaning.

The white porcelain figurine has a clean, calm expression, which makes it easy to place in the home. It works beautifully on its own on a shelf, chest of drawers or in a display cabinet, but can also be combined with other zodiac figurines in the series. Precisely the interplay between the soft body shapes and the more rustic plinth gives the figurine character and depth in the interior.

Gemini is a zodiac sign that is often associated with curiosity, social energy and quick perception, and it is precisely this light, reflective and active atmosphere that the figurine conveys. As a gift idea, it is particularly suitable for a birthday, graduation gift or as a personal figurine for someone who loves astrology, design and Danish porcelain. Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 1249615 is at the same time an exciting choice for collectors who appreciate newer Danish design with an artistic touch.
