Bing & Grøndahl seated hare figurine no. 2081, 16 x 14 cm

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 2081 depicts a seated hare in a calm and attentive moment. The figurine is modeled with long, upright ears, a slightly turned position and an erect posture, which gives the motif life and presence. The glaze lies in soft shades of gray, beige and white, which emphasize the hare's natural expression and make the figurine easy to place in both classic and modern homes.

It is a porcelain figurine with the fine, characteristic calm that many collectors and interior enthusiasts associate with Bing & Grøndahl. The underglaze technique gives the surface a glossy and harmonious finish, where the modeling stands out clearly around the face, legs and the small tail. The seated hare has a lively gaze and a springy form, which makes it decorative from several angles.

A hare figurine like this fits beautifully in a bookcase, on a chest of drawers, in a display cabinet or as part of a larger collection of Danish animal figurines in porcelain. It is also an obvious choice for you who are fond of vintage porcelain and would like to decorate with objects that have history, quality and personality. Older porcelain figurines from Bing & Grøndahl bring both charm and durability into the home and are a fine example of how classic design can still feel current.
