Bing & Grøndahl girl with kittens figurine no. 2276

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 2276 depicts a little girl standing closely embraced by two white kittens. The motif exudes intimacy and everyday joy, and the figurine's gentle expression makes it a charming choice for collectors of porcelain figurines, children's figurines and classic Danish design. The blue dress forms a beautiful contrast to the light kittens and emphasizes the figurine's calm, warm overall impression.

The girl's slightly bowed head and the way she holds the kittens close to her give the figurine life and narrative. Here there is tenderness, play, and the special connection between child and animal that makes the motif easy to love. As a children's figurine and cat figurine, it appeals both to those who collect Bing & Grøndahl and to those who want a porcelain figurine with a loving and recognizable motif.

The figurine is made of porcelain with underglaze, which suits Bing & Grøndahl's tradition of solid craftsmanship and a sense for figurative motifs very well. It works beautifully on its own in a display cabinet, on a shelf, or as part of a collection with other children's figurines and animal figurines. Older porcelain figurines like this one in particular have a special ability to add personality and history to the home, while also being a sustainable choice for those who appreciate quality made to last.

A figurine like this is also an obvious gift idea for the cat lover, the collector, or the one who is fond of classic Danish porcelain art. The motif is gentle and timeless, and the combination of child and kittens makes it easy to place in both traditional and more personal interiors.
