Rosenthal cat figurine seated cat by Theodor Karner

This Rosenthal cat figurine has an expression that immediately catches the eye. The seated cat is modelled with a raised paw and a slightly tilted head, giving the figure a lively and curious appearance. The white porcelain body stands in fine contrast to the darker areas on the head and tail, and the painted eyes give the figure both personality and presence.

The figure is designed by Theodor Karner and produced by Rosenthal, which makes it interesting for both collectors of porcelain figurines and for those who are fond of classic animal figures in the home. The form is simple, yet full of character, and it is precisely that combination that makes this seated cat suitable as a decorative detail on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a smaller collection of cat figurines and animal figurines in porcelain.

It is a porcelain figurine that fits well into an interior where one would like to add a touch of vintage charm and classic design history. The little cat also works well as a gift idea for the cat lover, the collector, or the one who appreciates older porcelain with a figurative motif. Used and older figures like this often have a special warmth about them, because they carry craftsmanship, history, and personality forward into today's homes.
