Michael Andersen squirrel figurine no. 6014 in ceramic

Michael Andersen squirrel figurine no. 6014 is a charming ceramic figurine with a simple and characterful design language. The upright squirrel is modelled with erect ears, small forepaws and a large, curved tail, which gives the figurine a calm and lively expression. The brown mottled glaze emphasizes the organic shape of the animal figurine and fits nicely into an interior with a focus on Danish ceramics, retro details and small collector's items with personality.

The figurine has a stylized expression that suits Michael Andersen & Søn well. This is not merely a lifelike depiction, but a decorative ceramic figurine, where form, balance and surface work together. The warm brown shades and the darker marking around the tail, back and base give the squirrel depth and character. This makes the figurine suitable both as a small solitary figure on a shelf and as part of a collection with other animal figurines from Danish ceramics.

Older ceramic figurines like this have a special ability to add soul to the home. They carry on the story of good craftsmanship and are at the same time a sustainable choice when one wishes to decorate with things that have already proven their value over time. A squirrel like this works well in the living room, on the bookcase, in the display cabinet or as a gift for collectors of Michael Andersen ceramics, Bornholm ceramics and smaller animal figurines.

For you who are looking for a Michael Andersen figurine, squirrel in ceramic or a small vintage animal figurine with a Danish design touch, no. 6014 is a fine find. The compact size and distinctive silhouette make it easy to place, while the motif adds warmth and life to the interior.
