Dahl Jensen girl with dog figurine - Jens Peter Dahl Jensen

This Dahl Jensen figurine depicts a warm and familiar moment between child and dog. The little girl stands close to the seated dog with her arms around it, and the motif radiates calm, trust and closeness. It is a porcelain figurine with a classic, narrative expression, where the relationship between child and animal is at the center in a quiet and natural way.

The girl is modeled with short hair, a light purple dress with a white collar, light knee socks and shoes, while the dog is executed in white and gray shades with fine brown details at the head. Together they form a child figurine with lots of life and personality. From all angles, the figurine is experienced as thoroughly crafted, and the calm posture of the seated dog emphasizes the secure atmosphere in the motif.

The figurine is from Dahl Jensen and is connected to the tradition-rich Danish figurine art, where everyday motifs, children and animals were often shaped with a great sense of character and movement. When the artist is Jens Peter Dahl Jensen, it is at the same time a figurine that is of interest to collectors of Danish porcelain and classic animal and child figurines. The combination of girl and dog makes it ideal for you who are fond of porcelain figurines with a story, or who are looking for a gift for a dog lover or collector of vintage figurines.

Older porcelain figurines like this bring history and soul into the home. They are created to be preserved and appreciated through generations, and precisely for that reason they are also a beautiful choice for you who value quality, reuse and timeless design. The figurine can stand alone in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a collection with other Dahl Jensen figurines, where it adds both softness and personality.
