Dahl Jensen Cocker Spaniel dog figurine no. 1304 13 cm

Dahl Jensen Cocker Spaniel dog figurine no. 1304 is a classic porcelain figurine with a lifelike and calm expression. The figurine depicts a standing cocker spaniel with long, wavy fur, a low tail and the characteristic long ears that give the breed its soft and recognizable distinctiveness. The brown-grey areas over the back, ears and tail interact beautifully with the light glaze and give the figurine depth and life.

The motif is modelled by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen, who is known for his animal figurines with a sense of movement, anatomy and personality. Here, the dog's calm posture and attentive gaze are rendered in a way that makes the figurine lively in expression. The glossy underglaze highlights the structure of the fur and the fine transitions in the decoration, giving the figurine a classic and cohesive expression.

As a dog figurine in porcelain, it fits beautifully into a collection of Danish porcelain figurines, but it also works well on its own on a shelf, in a display cabinet or on a desk, where it adds character and warmth to the home. For collectors of Dahl Jensen figurines and for dog lovers, this is a model that combines decorative value with Danish porcelain history.

A cocker spaniel figurine like this is also an obvious gift idea for someone who loves dogs, classic applied art and figurines with a natural motif. The compact size makes it easy to place, while the shape and glaze give it enough presence to be noticed.
