Royal Copenhagen Polar Bear Cub stoneware figurine no. 21434

Royal Copenhagen polar bear cub no. 21434 is a characterful stoneware figurine with the warm, lively expression that makes Knud Kyhn's animal figurines so sought-after. The figurine depicts a small polar bear cub lying on its back with its paws drawn up around its body, as if it is playing or tumbling around. The soft, white glaze emphasizes the motif's calm and natural appearance and gives the figurine a clean, Nordic expression.

Knud Kyhn is known for his special ability to shape animals with both weight, personality and movement, and this is clearly seen here. The round body, the small ears, the short snout and the defined paws give the figurine life, while the relaxed position adds a humorous and charming touch. It is a Royal Copenhagen figurine that appeals both to collectors of Danish design and to you who want a decorative animal figurine with history and presence.

As an older stoneware figurine, this polar bear cub also carries the special value that lies in choosing original craftsmanship with durability and soul. It fits beautifully in a bookshelf, a display cabinet or as a standalone feature in the home decor, where it adds personality without seeming heavy. The figurine is also an obvious gift idea for collectors of Royal Copenhagen, admirers of Knud Kyhn or anyone who loves classic animal figurines in Danish ceramics and stoneware.
