Royal Copenhagen bear cub no. 22747 or 247 stoneware figurine

Royal Copenhagen bear cub in stoneware is a charming animal figurine with plenty of life and personality. The figurine is modeled as a bear cub lying on its back with its paws raised, and this very playful pose gives it a warm and lively expression. The soft shapes and the dark glaze emphasize the calm, organic design language that makes Knud Kyhn's animal figurines so sought after among collectors of Danish design and classic stoneware.

Knud Kyhn is especially known for his lifelike and atmospheric animal figurines for Royal Copenhagen, and here one clearly senses his sure feeling for both movement and character. The bear cub has an almost narrative expression, where the relaxed posture and the finely modeled paws give the figurine a presence that makes it decorative from several angles. The dark surface with warm nuances highlights the figurine's shapes and gives the stoneware depth.

As a stoneware figurine, this bear cub fits beautifully into both modern and classic homes. It is ideal on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a collection with Royal Copenhagen figurines and other animals by Knud Kyhn. For many, these very older figurines are also a way to carry Danish craftsmanship with history forward into today's interior design. This makes the figurine a fine choice both for collectors, gift buyers, and anyone who loves ceramics and design with soul.

This figurine is aimed especially at those seeking a Royal Copenhagen bear figurine, a Knud Kyhn stoneware figurine, or a decorative bear cub with collector's value. The playful model makes it easy to recognize and a atmospheric feature in the interior.
