Royal Copenhagen bear stoneware figurine no. 21675 Knud Kyhn

Royal Copenhagen bear stoneware figurine no. 21675 is a lively and characterful animal figure, in which Knud Kyhn's sure eye for the forms of nature clearly stands out. The figurine depicts a seated bear with raised front paws and an alert expression, which gives the motif both movement and personality. The warm brownish shades interact with light areas in the glaze and create a powerful, organic expression that fits beautifully into both classic and modern interiors.

Knud Kyhn is among the most sought-after designers when it comes to Danish animal figures in stoneware, and the bear motif in particular has a special weight and closeness. Here the bear is modelled with a round, compact body, marked paws and a face with great character. The upright posture gives the figurine an almost playful touch, while the glaze's lively play of colours highlights the surface and emphasises the material quality of the stoneware.

This Royal Copenhagen figurine is an obvious choice for collectors of Knud Kyhn, for those who are fond of bear figurines, or for those who want a piece of Danish design with history and soul. An older stoneware figurine like this adds personality to the home and is at the same time a sustainable choice, because it is created to last and to be appreciated through generations. It looks beautiful on its own on a shelf, in a display cabinet or on a side table, but can also be combined with other ceramic figurines, stoneware or classic Nordic decorative art.

As a gift, it is also an obvious choice for the collector, the design lover or the one who appreciates original Danish craftsmanship. It is a figurine with weight, warmth and an expression that you keep coming back to.
