Royal Copenhagen German shepherd dog figurine 2803 Erik Nielsen 20 cm

Royal Copenhagen German shepherd dog figurine 2803 is a large and expressive dog figurine in porcelain, designed by Erik Nielsen. The figurine depicts a reclining German shepherd dog with raised head, upright ears and an attentive gaze, which gives the motif a calm, watchful and present character. It is a porcelain figurine that captures the breed's strength and intelligence in a natural and convincing way.

The modelling is carefully worked with beautiful transitions in the body, a pronounced chest and a relaxed, yet ready posture. The glaze plays beautifully in light and darker brown-grey shades, which emphasize the figurine's form and give the surface life. The glossy porcelain surface highlights both the dog's musculature and the soft lines of the body, so that the figurine appears lifelike from several angles.

As a Royal Copenhagen figurine, this German shepherd dog has both decorative value and collector interest. The large size makes it suitable as an eye-catcher on a shelf, on a sideboard or in a display cabinet together with other dog figurines, animal figurines or classic Danish porcelain. For dog lovers, it is a figurine with a recognizable motif and strong personality, and for collectors, model number 2803 is an important detail.

As the figurine is dated 1922-1930, it also contains the special charm that older porcelain figurines have. Quality objects with history add soul and personality to the home, and they are also a sustainable choice for those who wish to preserve fine craftsmanship and give beautiful design new life in a contemporary interior.

On the underside can be seen the Royal Copenhagen stamp as well as the model number "2803", which helps to identify the figurine.
