Royal Copenhagen wirehaired fox terrier figurine 12 cm no. 3165

Royal Copenhagen wirehaired fox terrier figurine no. 3165 is a classic dog figurine in porcelain with an alert and upright expression that immediately catches the eye. The figurine stands attentively with a raised tail, slender legs, and the head slightly turned, so that the lively terrier character clearly emerges. For you who are looking for a Royal Copenhagen dog figurine with breed character and personality, this is a model with great recognizability.

The wirehaired fox terrier is modeled by Theodor Madsen, who is known for his convincing animal figurines. Here, the dog's athletic build is rendered in a taut and well-balanced form, while the underglaze decoration emphasizes the figurine's calm and carefully worked expression. In the pictures it is seen with white glaze, grayish and darker areas on the body and neck as well as warm brownish shades at the face and forelegs. This gives the figurine depth and makes it decorative from several angles.

As a porcelain figurine, it combines lifelike observation with Danish design tradition. It is precisely the combination of pedigree dog, strong modeling, and Royal Copenhagen's craftsmanship that makes the figurine interesting for both collectors of dog figurines and for those who are fond of older porcelain with character. Figurine number 3165 is at the same time an important detail for anyone seeking this exact model.

A fox terrier figurine like this fits beautifully in a display cabinet, on a shelf, or as part of a personal arrangement with other animal figurines in porcelain. It is also an obvious gift idea for the dog lover, the terrier enthusiast, or the collector who appreciates classic models with history and soul. Older porcelain figurines like this are made to last a long time, and they bring both story, quality, and a sustainable element into the home when they are given new life with a new owner.
