Royal Copenhagen Seated girl Blue Fluted figurine no. 4793

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 4793 depicts a seated girl executed in the classic Blue Fluted pattern. The figurine has a calm and thoughtful expression, where the simple pose and the soft lines give the motif a fine sense of intimacy. The white porcelain body stands beautifully against the hand-painted blue decorations, which follow the shape of the dress and bind the figurine closely together with the well-known Danish porcelain tradition.

The seated girl is a porcelain figurine with an expression that is both simple and full of character. In the pictures, the girl is seen with a scarf around her head, a dress with Blue Fluted decoration and her legs stretched out in front of her on the square base. It is precisely the combination of child figure and Blue Fluted porcelain that gives the model a special place among Royal Copenhagen figurines, because it unites the figurative with one of the most beloved patterns in Danish design.

According to the existing product text, the figurine was designed by Hanne Varming. This is evident in the calm modelling and in the natural way the figurine is constructed. As a collectible figurine and decorative figurine, it fits beautifully in a bookcase, a display cabinet or as part of an arrangement with other porcelain figurines from Royal Copenhagen. It can also be an obvious gift idea for collectors of Blue Fluted, for those who are fond of child figurines, or for homes where classic Danish porcelain is allowed to create personality.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they were created to be preserved and appreciated over many years. Choosing a figurine with a history is also a beautiful way to let fine craftsmanship live on in a modern home. Here you get a Royal Copenhagen figurine that contains tradition, a recognisable pattern and a quiet motif that one keeps returning to.
